How to Schedule Tasks on Your Server
Run commands, power actions and backups automatically with Schedules.
Schedules run tasks for you at set times: restarts, backups, broadcast messages, or any console command.
Create a schedule
- Open your server and click Schedules in the sidebar.
- Create a schedule and name it.
- Set when it runs with a Preset (from Every 5 minutes to Monthly) or a Custom Cron expression. Times are in UTC.
- Turn on Only when online if it should be skipped while the server is off.
- Make sure it's Enabled.
Add tasks
Open the schedule and click New Task. Each task is one of:
| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
| Send Command | Runs a console command, e.g. save-all or say Hello |
| Power Action | Start, Stop, Restart or Kill the server |
| Create Backup | Makes a backup (if your plan has backup slots) |
Tasks run in order. Time Offset (seconds) waits that long after the previous task. Turn on Continue on failure to keep going if a task fails.
