Minecraft servers get a **Players** page in the sidebar. It shows who's online and lets you manage the server's player lists without typing commands.

## Open it

Open your server and click **Players** in the sidebar.

## Online players

The page lists players who are online now, with buttons to **op** or **deop**, **kick** and **ban** each one. The list comes from Minecraft's **query** feature, so `enable-query` must be on in `server.properties`. If it's off, the page offers to turn it on; restart the server afterwards. If the server is offline, start it from **Console**.

## The lists

| Column | What you can do |
|---|---|
| **OP list** | See operators and **deop** them. Use **Grant operator** to make someone an operator by name |
| **Whitelist** | See whitelisted players and **remove** them |
| **Banned** | See banned players and **pardon** them |

The buttons send the matching command to the server, so it must be running. To **add** someone to the whitelist, run `whitelist add <name>` in **Console**.

## Bedrock servers

On Bedrock the page manages the allowlist and permissions instead. Enter the player's **exact Bedrock gamertag**.

## When to use commands instead

For anything else (adding to the whitelist, a ban reason, IP bans), use **Console**. See [How to Kick or Ban Players](/knowledgebase/how-to-kick-or-ban-players-on-a-minecraft-server).
