**Amulet** is a free world editor for Java and Bedrock worlds. It can delete chunks, remove broken entities, copy builds between worlds and convert worlds between editions. It runs on your computer, so you edit a copy of the world and upload it back.

## 1. Get the world

1. In **Console**, click **Stop**.
2. Go to **Backups** and create a backup.
3. In **Files**, compress the `world` folder into an archive and download it (or download it over SFTP).
4. Extract it on your computer.

## 2. Edit it

1. Install Amulet from amuletmc.com and open it.
2. Click **Open World** and choose the extracted folder (the one with `level.dat`).
3. Make your changes, for example select chunks and delete them, or remove entities.
4. **Save** and close Amulet.

## 3. Upload it back

1. Zip the edited world folder.
2. In **Files**, delete the old `world` folder, upload your zip, and **Extract here**. Make sure the folder is called `world`.
3. Click **Start**.

> [!WARNING]
> Never open the world in Amulet while the server is running on it, and keep your backup until you've checked the edited world loads.
