When you ask for help with a server problem, the logs are the most useful thing you can send.

## Find the log

1. Open your server and go to **Files**.
2. Open `logs` and click `latest.log`. This is the log since the last start.
3. If the server crashed, also open `crash-reports` and the newest file there.

Older logs are in `logs` as `.log.gz` files; download one to read it.

## Share it

1. Click **Copy content to clipboard** in the editor (or select all and copy).
2. Paste it into [mclo.gs](https://mclo.gs) and save.
3. Send the link.

mclo.gs hides IP addresses and highlights errors.

> [!TIP]
> Reproduce the problem first, then grab the log straight away, so the error is near the bottom.

## Send it to us

[Open a ticket](/billing/tickets) and include the link, what you were doing when it went wrong, and anything you changed recently. Lag problems: send a **spark** profile link too; see [How to Find Lag With spark](/knowledgebase/how-to-install-spark-and-run-a-spark-profiler-on-a-minecraft-server).
