**Schedules** run tasks for you at set times: restarts, backups, broadcast messages, or any console command.

## Create a schedule

1. Open your server and click **Schedules** in the sidebar.
2. Create a schedule and name it.
3. Set when it runs with a **Preset** (from **Every 5 minutes** to **Monthly**) or a **Custom Cron** expression. Times are in UTC.
4. Turn on **Only when online** if it should be skipped while the server is off.
5. Make sure it's **Enabled**.

## Add tasks

Open the schedule and click **New Task**. Each task is one of:

| Task | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Send Command** | Runs a console command, e.g. `save-all` or `say Hello` |
| **Power Action** | **Start**, **Stop**, **Restart** or **Kill** the server |
| **Create Backup** | Makes a backup (if your plan has backup slots) |

Tasks run in order. **Time Offset (seconds)** waits that long after the previous task. Turn on **Continue on failure** to keep going if a task fails.

## Cron examples

| Cron | Runs |
|---|---|
| `0 */6 * * *` | Every 6 hours |
| `30 4 * * *` | 04:30 every day |
| `0 3 * * 1` | 03:00 every Monday |

## Ideas

- **Daily backup**: `save-all`, then **Create Backup**.
- **Restart warning**: `say Restarting in 5 minutes`, then **Restart** after 300 seconds.
- **Announcements**: `say` your Discord link every hour.
