Minimap mods save their maps and waypoints on **your computer**, named after the server you were on. If the server's address or name changes (moving hosts, adding a domain), the mod starts a fresh map. Your old data is still there; it just needs moving.

## Xaero's Minimap and World Map

1. Open your game folder (in your launcher, open the instance's folder).
2. Open `xaero` (newer versions) or `XaeroWaypoints` and `XaeroWorldMap` (older versions).
3. Find the folders for the **old** server address and the **new** one. They're named after the address, for example `Multiplayer_play.oldhost.com`.
4. Close the game. Copy the contents of the old folder into the new one, replacing files.
5. Start the game and join.

## JourneyMap

1. Open your game folder, then `journeymap/data/mp`.
2. Find the old server's folder and the new one.
3. Close the game, copy the old folder's contents into the new one, and restart.

> [!TIP]
> Back up the folders before copying. If the new folder doesn't exist yet, join the server once to create it, then quit and copy.
