`server.properties` only takes one resource pack link. To send several, merge them into one pack first.

## Merge the packs

Do this on your computer.

1. Extract each pack's `.zip` into its own folder.
2. Make a new folder for the merged pack. Copy in the `pack.mcmeta` from the pack you want as the base.
3. Copy each pack's `assets` folder into the merged folder, starting with the **lowest priority** pack. When asked to replace files, let the higher priority pack's files win.
4. Zip the **contents** of the merged folder (so `pack.mcmeta` is at the top of the zip, not inside a subfolder).

Tools such as **PackSquash** or online pack mergers can do this for you and catch conflicts.

## Check `pack_format`

`pack.mcmeta` has a `pack_format` number for the Minecraft version. Use the number for your server's version, or players get an "incompatible" warning.

## Use it on the server

Host the zip somewhere with a direct download link, then set `resource-pack` (and `resource-pack-sha1`) in `server.properties`. See [How to Add a Resource Pack](/knowledgebase/how-to-add-a-resource-pack-to-a-minecraft-server).

> [!NOTE]
> When two packs change the same file (the same block texture, for example), only one can win. Decide which pack each conflicting file should come from.
