Server list sites (like minecraft-server-list or minecraft-mp) send a message to your server when someone votes. **NuVotifier** receives those votes so another plugin can reward the voter.

## 1. Add a port for votes

NuVotifier needs its own port.

1. Open your server and go to **Network**.
2. Click **Add Allocation**. Note the new port.

If you've used all the extra ports on your plan, **Add more ports** takes you to the add-ons for your service.

## 2. Install NuVotifier

Install it on **Paper** (or on your **Velocity** proxy for a network).

1. In **Package Manager**, click **Browse packages**, search for **NuVotifier**, and click **Install**.
2. Package changes are queued and applied the next time the server starts, so restart it from **Console** when you're done.
3. Stop the server. In **Files**, open `plugins/Votifier/config.yml`.
4. Set `port` to the port you added, save, and start the server.

## 3. Give the key to the vote site

NuVotifier made a key in `plugins/Votifier/rsa/public.key`. On each server list site, enter:

- your server's **address** (from **Network**);
- the **Votifier port** you added;
- the **public key**: the contents of `public.key`.

Most sites have a "test vote" button. **Console** logs each vote it receives.

## 4. Reward votes

NuVotifier only receives votes. Install a rewards plugin such as **VotingPlugin** or **SuperbVote** from **Package Manager** to give items or money for them.
