The server icon is the picture players see next to your server in their multiplayer list.

## Make the image

- It must be a **PNG**.
- It must be exactly **64 × 64 pixels**.
- It must be called **`server-icon.png`** (all lowercase).

Most image editors can resize to 64 × 64. Simple, bold images read best at that size.

## Upload it

1. Open your server and go to **Files**.
2. Stay in the top folder (where `server.properties` is).
3. Drag `server-icon.png` into the file list to upload it.
4. Go to **Console** and click **Restart**.

Refresh your multiplayer list in Minecraft to see the new icon.

## If it doesn't show

- **Wrong size or format.** Minecraft ignores icons that aren't a 64 × 64 PNG. A JPG renamed to `.png` won't work.
- **Wrong folder.** It must sit next to `server.properties`, not inside `world` or `plugins`.
- **Wrong name.** `Server-Icon.png` or `server-icon.png.png` won't be found. Check the name in **Files**.
- **Old cache.** Minecraft caches icons. Remove the server from your list and add it again.

> [!NOTE]
> Bungee and Velocity networks show the proxy's icon, so put `server-icon.png` on the proxy server.
