How to Change Your Password on the Games Panel

Your Beacon Hosting password is the one you use to sign in to the panel (servers, billing, and account). Change it from the Account page while you are signed in.

Change your password

1. Sign in at beaconhosting.org/auth/login.
2. Open Account from your profile menu, or go to beaconhosting.org/account.
3. On the Password card, fill in:
   • Current password
   • New password
   • Confirm new password
4. Click Update password.

You should see “Password updated successfully.” Use the new password the next time you sign in.

Password requirements

The new password must be:

• At least 8 characters (100 max)
• At least one uppercase letter
• At least one number
• At least one special character

The New password field shows a strength meter as you type. The two new-password fields must match.

If you forgot your password

1. Open Forgot password? (also linked under the password field on the login page).
2. Enter the email on the account and complete the check.
3. Open the reset email and follow the link.
4. Choose a new password that meets the rules above.

If the reset link says it expired, request a new one from the same page.

You do not need to contact support for a normal reset. If you no longer have access to the account email, open a ticket.

Troubleshooting

“Passwords don't match”
New password and Confirm new password must be identical.

Current password is rejected
That field is your existing Beacon password, not the authenticator code. If you cannot remember it, use Forgot password instead.

You signed up with Google and never set a password
Use Forgot password to create one, then you can change it from Account later.
