How to Add and Remove Admins on an Ark Server
Granting or revoking admin privileges is crucial for managing your Ark: Survival Evolved server. With Beacon Hosting, this process is simple and secure. Follow the steps below to add or remove server administrators.
✅ How to Add an Admin
To give admin rights to a player:

Log in to your Beacon Hosting Control Panel.

Navigate to your Ark server service via the Server Selection Page.

Open your server configuration file:
Go toGameUserSettings.ini
via the file manager or use the built-in Admin Management tool if available in your panel. -
Locate or create the
AdminList
section and add the player’s Steam64ID on a new line.
🔍 Tip: You can find a player’s Steam64ID by visiting steamid.io or asking the player directly.
- Save the file and restart your server to apply the changes.
🚫 How to Remove an Admin
To revoke a player's admin access:

Access the Beacon Hosting Control Panel and go to your Ark server.

GameUserSettings.ini
file or the Admin Management interface. -
Delete the Steam64ID of the player from the
AdminList

Save your changes and restart the server.
