Enabling cheats allows you to run commands like /gamemode
, /tp
, /give
, and more. This is especially useful for server operators who want to manage or enhance gameplay.
How to Enable Cheats
- Log in to your Beacon Hosting client area.
- Select your Minecraft Bedrock server from the list of services.
- Go to your server configuration settings.
- Locate the
allow-cheats
option and enable it. - Click Save, then restart your server for changes to take effect.
[INFO] Cheats must be enabled before starting the world. Changing this setting mid-session won’t apply retroactively to existing world states unless reset.
Using Cheats In-Game
Once enabled, you can use commands directly in chat (if you're an operator) or via the console. Some popular commands include:
/gamemode creative
/tp <player> <target>
/give <player> <item> [amount]
Make sure your player has operator privileges (
/op <player>
) to use cheats in-game.
