How to Enable Cheats on a Minecraft Bedrock Server

Enabling cheats allows you to run commands like /gamemode, /tp, /give, and more. This is especially useful for server operators who want to manage or enhance gameplay.

How to Enable Cheats

  1. Log in to your Beacon Hosting client area.
  2. Select your Minecraft Bedrock server from the list of services.
  3. Go to your server configuration settings.
  4. Locate the allow-cheats option and enable it.
  5. Click Save, then restart your server for changes to take effect.

[INFO] Cheats must be enabled before starting the world. Changing this setting mid-session won’t apply retroactively to existing world states unless reset.

Using Cheats In-Game

Once enabled, you can use commands directly in chat (if you're an operator) or via the console. Some popular commands include:

  • /gamemode creative
  • /tp <player> <target>
  • /give <player> <item> [amount]

Make sure your player has operator privileges (/op <player>) to use cheats in-game.
